Looking after it
A care plan keeps it running.
A care plan is required while we host your site. Essential care (£29 a month including VAT) at least. The Care plan adds a monthly test booking, which we then cancel. See what each plan includes.
Your bookings, your rules. You set your services, prices, deposits and cancellation policy, and you're responsible to your customers. Deposits and no-show fees must be fair and shown before people book.

I already use Fresha, Booksy or Square. Do I need Book Online?
No. If you already have a booking page, we add a "Book now" button to every page of your site and a booking policy section, free with every package.
Which booking tool will you use?
The one that fits how you work, on an account in your business's name. For example: Square Appointments or Cal.com for one to three people, Fresha for salons and barbers, or SimplyBook.me for classes and several services. We tell you which, and what it costs, before you buy.
What will the booking tool cost me?
Square Appointments has a free plan, Cal.com is free for one person and SimplyBook.me is free up to 50 bookings a month; Fresha starts at £14.95 a month plus VAT. Card fees apply when customers pay online. You pay the tool direct; the figures are in the table above.
Can I take deposits or charge for no-shows?
Yes, if your booking tool and its plan allow it (for example, Square's no-show and cancellation fees need its Plus plan). Deposits and no-show fees must be fair, in proportion to your real loss and shown to customers before they book. We write your deposit and cancellation policy page from our template; you check it and it becomes yours.
Who takes the money?
You do, through the booking tool's own payment provider. We never receive or hold your customers' money and never see card details.
Do I need a care plan?
Yes, while we host your site you keep a care plan: Essential care at least. On the Care plan we also make a test booking each month, then cancel it, to check everything still works.
Can customers tell me about health conditions when they book?
We don't build booking forms that ask for health or other sensitive information unless we've agreed it with you in writing first and you've confirmed your lawful basis for collecting it.
How do you test it?
We make a test booking, you make one too and check the confirmation emails, and you approve it in your client account before it goes live. Then we give you a 20-minute video handover.
